Sound The Alarm! Hot Mess Alert

Me: I'm need to take some stuff out of your room. Is it clean?

Jay Bird: Yes. I cleaned it yesterday.

This is the point I make my discovery.

What is your definition of clean? His has to be Clean=Hot Mess.

Now on to grandeur things. I have started progress on Jay Bird's room. The free entertainment center I received is transforming at rapid speeds.

As if I needed to take on more than I can chew, I recently bought this! Need more details (price & such) & inspiration on what it could become? Check Life + Style. She's got it covered! Matter of fact, bet you can't guess which inspiration pic got my feathers ruffled!

I want to say thank you so much for every one's words of kindness involving my husband's deployment. I really don't know what else to say that could sound more sincere. I'm not freaked out about it as much as I should be. Emo (my term for overly emotional)...always, freaked out..nope. I've been dealing with a crashed computer & a wrecked little boy's room. Aaand I've been driving back & forth from Memphis. Lovely, I know <---Insert tilted head w/ a tight lip frown.

But I have been good and didn't buy more chairs.

$60 for the set of 2
. Have you ever?! Perfect for my mom, which would mean I could come home with the $100 set of bergere chairs I recently picked up for her.

That's great that you're not emo...you wouldn't have enough energy to do all your projects. Trust me! Being middle-aged and near menopause...constant anxiety, dizziness and over-reacting. The blog helps to keep me in check, but I don't always get everything completed.

Those chairs are amazing!

Listen if you want more info on that chair...I can check it out for you. Dimensions...price (no markup from me) and see how much it would be to send it.

Email me.

Your husband is going to come home to a house he doesn't recognize with all the projects you're taking on. LOL!

Sigh. Aren't all kiddos' definition of clean severely lacking? I always have to say to my oldest, "Clean it the way Mommy would clean it." Your free entertainment center project is looking fun so far!

(By the way, thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving comments! I'm loving the recipe you left for me. Sounds perfect!)

LOVE the dresser and the mirror! I've been looking for something like it but everything in my area is so overpriced!.. Can't wait to see what you do with it!

:) So funny... my kids have a totally different definition of clean :) Or, they just stuff things where they think I won't look!

if you ever move down here, you might be disappointed, because i don't find nearly as many chairs. also, i love where the entertainment ctr is going.

First, loving the green curtains, next the chairs are pretty awesome, but the dressers do overs Dayka found Yikes! Girl that paisley has me on edge, I want to be patient enough to do something like that!

Finally when are you going to upholster something chica?...lol

Jaybird needs to learn the word "ish". Ish is a wonderful word (and yes, I think it should be considered a real word).

The chairs would be wonderful to ME! I want a pair of Queen Ann style chairs to go at the ends of my dining room table. I saw it once in a magazine and since then I want to recreate the look!

Have a great week.
