Glamorous Chanel Print-Offs

I have the worst time finding images to print off for free (yeah I'm cheap like that) that are gender friendly. Some that I like are too feminine for the Man of the house. I have to have a good balance of masculine & feminine.

Last year I was up all hours of the night, not unusual for me, browsing flickr for images. I collected a handful of images that I had wanted to print off. (Is this illegal? If it were, would that really stop me from pushing print? I think you know the answer to this one.)

While looking at my inspiration file I came across some forgotten favorites.

I had wanted to frame 4 of these images and hang 2 on each side of the bed.

My dilemma is should I go with these images that make my heart burst with memories of old Hollywood glam or go with something more punchy in color like these?

I found these while browsing stock.xchng. They have tons of free images you can download. Be careful though, browsing will easily suck you in for hours! The first image is of Key West's seascape. (Key West is home for me). I would only be printing off 2 of these prints and framing them in some frames I bought at Home Goods. I really don't know which way to go :o( Glam Chanel bottles, which my heart just loves or bright tropical prints, which totally covers the fun shockingly bright I miss my hometown side of me. HELP!

Me, I'd choose the old hollywood glam.
And great idea by the way, I never thought of doing that :-)

Those Chanel pics are so elegant. I think you should go with them.

My daughters had a room with Tiffany's blue walls. We decorated with lots of black and white photos (poster size of Audrey Hepburn/Breakfast at Tiffany's). Adrianna, it was seriously the most glamorous room. Their friends loved it too!

I think your Chanel pics would have the same sort of wow factor, especially if paired with those lamps you painted and the blue chairs from Craig's list.

OK, I just totally decorated your space in my mind. Thanks for playing along *grins*

Guess what? I NOW HAVE POLY!! Thanks for the tip!

You made me laugh {if it were, would that stop me}. I love a gal who knows what she wants and is not afraid to get it!
As for the prints, I'm all about the black and white chanel. They're so timeless!

If they are for the room with the lamps and boxes from yesterday, I'd go with Chanel.

Okay, Hubby thinks the Chanel prints are to feminine. That secretly makes me want to hang them up asap. My mom thinks they look like freebies..HELLO they are, right?!! And lol @ the sea images looking like screensavers! If anyone would like to suggest some images feel free. I'm completely open to ideas :o)

Decorating with a man in mind is SO difficult! I don't know what it is, but so much decor and wall art feels feminine even when it isn't overtly so.

I think the Chanel would look great in those frames! You could always put seascapes in summer and swap them out later - that's the beauty of pictures that only cost ink and paper ;)

Thanks for dropping by my blog - I do find all the social media impersonal. I don't facebook and haven't myspaced for years - and twitter HA! I figure a blog is enough sharing for me, I need to keep some mystery alive for the cyberstalkers ;)

The Chanel images are wonderful, I think they'd look terrific. As long as the size resolution is big enough for the look you want, they'd be fab!
